Randall Richardson attended Louisiana State University. He received his CLU designation from the American College. With over 40 years of experience as a top producer, manager and general agent.
Randall is recognized as an expert on insurance and insurance company operations. He has served as an expert witness in over 75 litigation cases across the United States. He has been admitted in federal, state and district courts as an expert witness in matters involving insurance and securities.
Randall is founder and president of Pelican Advisory Group. He is also a managing partner in Platinum Funding Group, a company focused on leveraged insurance purchases and a partner in Pelican Investment Advisors, a registered investment advisory firm.
Randall’s philosophy is to assist agents in developing unique financial plans to accomplish the client’s goals to maximize wealth transfer and minimize wealth loss during transfer. He has traveled extensively to work with leading agents around the country to achieve this objective. Randall has personally assisted many clients with estate planning and wealth transfer concepts and is considered an expert in leveraged insurance purchases. He currently serves as a member of the Louisiana Insurance Commission’s Advisory Board and he has worked with other insurance commissioners and state legislative members regarding legislations affecting the insurance industry. Randall is married to his wife of 43 years, Roxanne and they have 3 children and 9 grandchildren together. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to hunt, fish and spend time with his grandkids.
